Troy Michigan has been my home base where I started as a product illustrator and graphic artist at McNamara Associates from 1983 through 1996.
I developed decorative, character, and product illustrations for national and local clients. I gained experience in solving difficult illustration problems in traditional including ink and watercolor and switched to digital Illustration working in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Most recently, I spent a year creating CGI imaging for Chrysler through Prestige Engineering. Other accounts include many national corporations and magazines specializing in medical and Product illustration. Storybook illustration and character development have been specialties.

For the last 10 years I decided to give back to the industry by teaching illustration and design. Since 2004 I have been an instructor at Macomb Community College, ITT, Baker College and most recently at Oakland Community College.
I designed a course in rendering to reflect the modern demands of illustration, created a new course in Concept Illustration published a textbook for Rendering. Teaching has become a passion and in 2012 I won the NISOD Award for excellence in college adjunct instruction.
