Sara Gancho is a graphic designer and illustrator from Lisbon, Portugal. She started to work in design after finishing her degree in Graphic Design from IADE. She also holds a PhD in Design Management from Lancaster University. She has worked in several design agencies and is currently a Design and Marketing Professor in Lisbon while working on Design and Illustration projects. Her style is eclectic and very versatile as she draws inspiration from a broad and diverse range of sources. However she is fascinated with people’s portraits, specially close-ups and is able to capture the person’s “essence” at their best.
